This Blog is a collaborative platform where Internet users may interact and is subject to the following rules:

1- Authority - This platform is moderated by Dr. G. J. Warth with credentials listed on the “About the Author” page. The moderator, will be visiting and updating this website at a frequency of usually daily, but not less than once a week. Even though the site is written primarily for healthcare professionals and students, all users are by default considered nonprofessional unless stated otherwise. If the user is a professional, his/her qualifications should be stated as well. Platform users and moderator must behave at all times with respect and honesty. All submissions to the blog will first be reviewed for content and appropriateness by the moderator before publication. If content is not appropriate for publication on this site, the user will be notified and the submission will not be published. The moderator reserves the right to edit the submission for spelling and grammatical errors, but will not alter the meaning of the content. A user may be banned for any submissions containing illicit, disrespectful, dishonest or other inappropriate content as determined by the moderator.

2- Purpose of the platform: Complementarity – The information contained within this site and/or weblog is not meant to replace the advice of any health professional. Furthermore, the information herein is designed to complement, never replace, the relationship between a patient and his/her own physician.

3- Confidentiality – Please read the Privacy Policy for this site. Users must understand that all posts in this weblog are visible to everyone. Once a post is published, it may be modified only by notifying the moderator by email and requesting the change, or by submitting a new post to the moderator to replace the previous post by that user. A post may be deleted upon the request of the user who submitted the post. The moderator reserves the right to delete any post that is later determined to be inappropriate, outdated, or no longer provides useful information or content without notification to the user who submitted the post.

4- References - The moderator requests that users provide references or valid links to the health/medical information they provide if it is not a personal experience, that is, if it is not about something that the user has experienced or undergone himself or herself.

5- Dated - All posts will be automatically dated.

6- Justifiability – Users must post only information which is true and correct to the best of their knowledge.

7- Transparency – These rules will always be easily accessible from the Homepage of this site and from the Blog page.

8- Disclosures – The moderator funds the production and maintenance of this site from the advertisements which appear on its pages and which are clearly marked as advertisements or sponsored links.
